Pole Foundations Teacher Training covers a detailed breakdown of our Pole Foundations curriculum including how to effectively teach climbing, inversion preparation, spins, body waves, pole sits, and floorwork.
We’ll also go in depth on how to plan and lead an effective warm up, discover who you are as an instructor, best practices for teaching, and how to build community!
Day 1 - Saturday, June 8: 10am - 5pm

• 10:30 am - Pole Foundations Master Class
• 11:30 am - Break
• 11:45 am - Who Are You as an Instructor?
• 12:15 pm - Teaching Best Practices
• 1:00 pm - Lunch
• 1:45 pm - P+D Introductions and Warm Up Breakdown
• 3:00 pm - Climbing and Inversions Preparation Breakdown
• 4:00 pm - Pole Foundations Movements Breakdown
• 5:00 pm - Closing and Homework
Day 2 - Sunday, June 9: 10am - 5pm:
• 10:00 am - Check in and Q+A
• 10:30 am - Student Led Warmups in Small Groups for Feedback and Evaluation
• 11:45 am - Student Led Foundations Movements Instruction
• 1:00 pm - Lunch
• 1:45 pm - Student Led Foundations Movement Instruction
• 3:15 pm - Break
• 3:30 pm - Difficult Situations and Case Studies
• 4:30 pm - Certificates and Feedback Forms and Next steps
Please note that participation in the training does not guarantee employment at a Midwest Movement Collective. This training is an excellent starting point for brand new instructors.
Participants should be confident climbing to the top of the pole, performing a pole sit, and be familiar with basic pole spins and movements.
Teacher Training Policies:
• are eligible for payment plans (2 payments of $315 - must be paid in full by June 8.)
• cannot be combined with discounts and scholarship programs
• are refundable up to 2 weeks before the start date
• are non-transferable to other students or other trainings
• must be fully attended in order to start the clearance process
• are eligible for 20% off for employees or previous Teacher Training participants with discount code: LEARN
Please bring two sets of workout clothes; one for taking and teaching class in (sports bra and pole shorts) and a looser, warmer set for when we're sitting and talking through concepts (yoga pants and shirt); Please also bring a notebook and a pen or pencil for taking notes.
