Find lots of things to do during Pokémon Week at Lakeview Branch!Scavenger Hunt: Children of all ages
Feb. 23-March 1 ~ all day
Can you catch them all?! Several Pokémon are hiding in the Lakeview Branch. If you can catch at least 12 Pokémon you can bring them up to the desk for a prize!
DIY Pokeballs: Mon., Feb. 24
2 PM to 7:30 PM
Children of all ages: Visit our Storytime Room to make your own Pokéballs using paper plates. Younger kids may need assistance from an adult with some of the cutting. Drop-ins welcome.
Bead Creations: Tues., Feb. 25
4 PM to 5:30 PM
Get ready for Pokémon Day! Choose one of our Pokémon designs (or make your own) and make a perler bead Pokémon creation.
Registration is required. This program begins at 4:00. Participants who are more than 15 minutes late may have their registration given to someone on the waitlist.
Parents must stay in the room to assist children under the age of 10.
DIY Pokemon Bookmarks: Weds., Feb. 26
10 AM to 7 PM
Children of all ages stop by the Storytime Room and follow the template to create your own Pokémon inspired bookmarks. Make one for a friend or create/catch them all.
This craft is for Pokemon fans of all ages: children, teens, and adults. Younger children may need help with cutting since this craft involves a lot of cutting.
