You can battle in Pokémon TCG, video game, and Pokémon GO Regional Championships, which take place all over the world. After the Pokémon International Championships, the Pokémon Regional Championships are the largest events in terms of both attendance and Championship Point payouts.https://www.pokemon.com/us/play-pokemon/pokemon-events/pokemon-tournaments/regional-championships/
Up to $50,000 in prizes, scholarships, and gift cards (based on attendance; up to $65,000 when Pokémon GO is also held)
No qualifications or residency restrictions to enter TCG or video game events
Some qualifications and residency restrictions apply to Pokémon GO, including for early registration, which is linked to performance in GO Battle League and acceptance of terms—see the Pokémon GO Championship Series page for details.
Pokémon TCG players need to bring their own legal 60-card deck for the Standard format. Pokémon video game players must bring their own game system, their own Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield game, and a legal Pokémon team. Pokémon GO players must have a legal Pokémon team on their Pokémon GO account.
In order to participate, players must have a Pokémon Trainer Club account, be in good standing with the Play! Pokémon program, and comply with current COVID-19 requirements for large Pokémon events.
Registration for these events is handled by the Tournament Organizer, and an entry fee may be charged at their discretion. Many Regional Championships require online registration, and events may sell out. Please check the Event Locator for details about each event, including information regarding registration.
