Pridite na pogovorni večer, kjer bomo odkrivali in spoznavali, od kod prihaja jazz. Jazz je glasba, ki se je spreminjala skozi desetletja in nenehno razvijala, odražala družbene spremembe, kulturno ustvarjalnost ter virtuoznost glasbenikov, ki so oblikovali njegovo zgodbo in pustili neizbrisen pečat v glasbeni zgodovini. Njegova pot se je začela z blues glasbo, ki je nastala v afroameriških ljudskih tradicijah, nadaljevala do razkošnega swinga in energičnega jump bluesa, skozi ritme rhythm & bluesa, vse do prelomnega in inovativnega bebopa. 🎵

Takoj po pogovoru s Primožem se bo naš dragi prijatelj Aljaž zbral z nekaj glasbeniki, da bodo v studiu priredili odprti jam session. To ni koncert ali uradni nastop – gre za spontan, pop-up jam med glasbeniki iz vse Slovenije, ki se bodo morda tisti večer ustavili pri nas. Tako kot jazz bo tudi ta dogodek poln improvizacije … kdo ve, kdo se bo pojavil?
Vsi ste vabljeni, da po pogovornem večeru ostanete ali se ustavite – še kaj spijete in morda celo zaplešete – če ste glasbenik, pa prinesite svoj instrument in se nam pridružite!
✨ Pop-up Jam Session vodi: Aljaž Draškovič-Bračun
➡️ Primož Fleischman je obiskoval Srednjo glasbeno šolo v Ljubljani, kjer je bil dijak na teoretski, klasični in jazzovski smeri. Leta 1998 je z odliko diplomiral na Akademiji za glasbo v Ljubljani (prof. M. Drevenšek). Študij je nadaljeval na Berklee College of Music v Bostonu. Je prejemnik številnih nagrad, med drugim Plakete Mestne občine Ljubljana, Škerjančeve nagrade, nagrade Zlati Petelin in Hrvaške glasbene nagrade Porin.
Kot solist je nastopil z orkestri, kot so Big Band RTV Slovenija, Orkester Slovenske filharmonije in Simfonični orkester RTV Slovenija. Nastopal je na mednarodnih festivalih po Evropi, v Istanbulu, Šanghaju in ZDA. Bil je član zasedb, kot so kvartet saksofonov 4Saxess, Central European Jazz Connection in Fake Orchestra. Zaposlen je kot prvi altist-solist v Big Bandu RTV Slovenija in poučuje saksofon na Konservatoriju za glasbo in balet ter improvizacijo na Akademiji za glasbo v Ljubljani.

Come to a discussion evening where we will discover and learn about the origins of jazz. Jazz is a music that has changed over the decades and constantly evolved, reflecting social changes, cultural creativity, and the virtuosity of the musicians who shaped its story and left an indelible mark on music history. Its journey began with blues music, which originated in African-American folk traditions, continued through luxurious swing and energetic jump blues, through the rhythms of rhythm & blues, all the way to the groundbreaking and innovative bebop. 🎵

Right after the discussion with Primož, our dear friend Aljaž will gather with a few musicians to use the studio space for an open jam session. This isn’t a concert or a formal performance — it’s a spontaneous, pop-up jam among musicians from all over Slovenia who might drop by that evening. Just like jazz, it’ll be full of improvisation… who knows who might show up?
You’re all welcome to stay or drop by after the talk — grab another drink and maybe even dance a little - and if you’re a musician, bring your instrument and sit in!
✨ Pop-up Jam Session leader: Aljaž Draškovič-Bračun
➡️ Primož Fleischman attended the Secondary School of Music in Ljubljana, where he studied theory, classical music, and jazz. In 1998, he graduated with honors from the Academy of Music in Ljubljana (prof. M. Drevenšek). He continued his studies at Berklee College of Music in Boston. He is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Plaque of the City of Ljubljana, the Škerjanec Award, the Zlati Petelin Award, and the Croatian music award Porin.
As a soloist, he has performed with orchestras such as the RTV Slovenia Big Band, the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra, and the RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra. He has performed at international festivals throughout Europe, in Istanbul, Shanghai, and the USA. He has been a member of ensembles such as the 4Saxess saxophone quartet, the Central European Jazz Connection, and the Fake Orchestra. He is employed as the first alto saxophonist-soloist in the RTV Slovenia Big Band and teaches saxophone at the Conservatory of Music and Ballet and improvisation at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana.
