Join the Women Who Redefine Colour Bookclub at their summer poetry workshop led by Rina Begum!
Please note that this workshop is for women from diverse backgrounds only.
This poetry workshop will be focusing on ‘finding your voice’ by using the creative language of poetry. Whether you are an emerging poet, someone with an interest in poetry, or even someone who just wants to try something new - this workshop will delve into how you can use poetry to express yourself in your own unique voice.
The workshop will be led by Rina Begum who is a British Bangladeshi poet and teacher, and has used her creative passion to raise children's engagement with poetry at secondary schools. Her debut poetry collection, ‘Unearthing Sunlight’ was published in 2022 after completing a 21-day poetry writing challenge. Currently, she is studying MA English Literature at The University of Birmingham and is in the process of writing her next poetry collection which focuses on her family, heritage and culture.
