Join us Thursday the 18th for the one and only, Willie Edward Taylor Carver Jr. We can’t wait to learn more about his upcoming release, Tore All to Pieces (University Press of Kentucky). Such an honor to have Willie with us this month. Join us! Willie Carver Jr. is an LGBTQ+ youth advocate and KY Teacher of the Year. His Gay Poems for Red States (University Press of Kentucky) is a World Pride, Stonewall, Whippoorwill, ALA, Read Appalachia, and Book Riot award recipient. His novel, Tore All to Pieces, arrives 2026 (University Press of Kentucky). Willie writes from Appalachia and believes everyone's story matters.
