Poetry Salon Night

FOR THE GOOD TIMES

Join us for an evening of poetry and music honouring good times and good people, filled with beautiful verses and captivating performances.

Immerse yourself into the world of poetry and connect with fellow poets.

Guest artist Gerardine White from West Limerick

"Your poems help me see the world in a new light."

Guest artist Eithne Hogan from Bluebell, Dublin

Poems about culture & origins, a sense of place & changing spaces, childhood, and the power of creativity, imagination & play.

Guest artist Ken Tuohy from Dublin
Well known Dublin composer and musician, performs favourite pieces as well as original instrumental music. His piano repertoire includes traditional, folk, as well as light classical and popular music.

Guest artist Noel O'Grady from Kerry

"Noel O' Grady's interpretation of songs has one listening to the familiar, yet hearing it for the first time."

A five-time winner of Oireachtas na Gaeilge for traditional singing in Irish.
Noel believes that poetry and music combined can touch the heart, and even entice one into that rarely visited place within - The soul, where art belongs.
He feels that when we don't explore the rich vein that is world music and literature, we lose out, hence his repertoire spans French, Irish, Spanish, Italian, Swahili, Maori and Mandarin.

Some artists make you feel good, some make you feel great, others make you feel.
So, whether you're a seasoned poet or just starting out, an open stage at the end of the evening will give you an opportunity to share your work, or simply enjoy the talent of others. Don't miss out on this inspiring night of creativity and expression.
