Her recent passing sparked a groundswell of love and remembrance, urging us to come together as a community to lift her words and the anthem of liberation and Black Joy. Hosted in collaboration with spoken word artist Ruthnie Angrand, the Brigade invites you to a night of poetry. Inspired by her anthology Quilting the Black-Eyed Pea, this evening will honor Nikki Giovanni’s indelible mark on Black literature.
