Sacred poet J. Stephen Rhodes will share his newest work, "Earthen Vessels: A Family Memoir in Poetry."This event will be in Hoffmann Hall, on the Second Floor of Immanuel UCC. An elevator is available for accessibility.
After the reading, Rhodes will host a Q&A and discussion of memoir as a way of making meaning.
Admission is free; books will be available for purchase.

J. Stephen Rhodes writes about living on the edges between security and fear, guilt and grace, as well as between country and city, and prosperity and scarcity. He is the author of four poetry collections and has been published in more than 70 journals. He holds a Ph.D. in Theological Studies and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing. He currently serves as Canon Poet at Grace Episcopal Cathedral in Charleston, SC.
