Poetry Reading

Three Louisiana women poets will read their poetry at The Bayou Teche Museum on Sunday afternoon, September 20th at 2 PM. Ava Leavell Haymon, former Louisiana Poet Laureate, Elizabeth Burk, New York transplant to Breaux Bridge and Louisiana life, and Margaret Simon, retired educator turned teaching artist, will read their poetry, published and unpublished about living in Louisiana and going through life’s changes. The event is open and free to the public.
