Poetry of Music: Legends and Folklore
Advertisement
Every legend began somewhere as a song passed hand to hand, and every folk tune still carries a little of its legend inside it. This year's Poetry of Music goes looking for both: music built from myth and fantasy, alongside folk songs gathered from around the world, sung by all five Youth Chorus ensembles.
Repertoire will be announced later in the season.
Tickets: Adults $15 in advance / $20 at the door. Students $5 in advance or at the door. Children 13 and under free. All Fairfax County Public Schools teachers and students attend free.
