Guest Poet
Siobhan Harvey is the author of eight books, including 2022 New Zealand Book Awards longlisted, Ghosts (Otago University Press, 2021). She was highly-commended in the 2024 Bridport Memoir Award (UK) and won the 2023 Landfall Essay Competition. She was awarded the 2021 Janet Frame Literary Trust Award for Poetry, 2020 NZSA Peter & Dianne Beatson Fellowship, 2019 Kathleen Grattan Prize for a Sequence of Poems, 2019 Robert Burns Poetry Prize and 2013 Kathleen Grattan Poetry Award. Her poetry, fiction and creative nonfiction has been published in local and international anthologies and journals like Asia Review (HK), Griffith Review (Aus), Out Here: An Anthology of Takatapui and LGBTQIA+ Writer from Aotearoa and Stand (UK). Her work has been selected for Best New Zealand Poems three times.
