The Independent Film Society of Colorado (IFSOC) sponsors Peak Film Forum and the Indie Spirit Film Festival & Colorado Short Circuit Film Festival. We are at the heart of Independent Filmmaking in The Pikes Peak Region.

Join us this month as we present “Poetry in Motion" Colorado’s Premier International film festival, highlighting their Nominee selections and festival winners!
Once more in conjunction with the Peak Film Forum, Cottonwood Center for the Arts, and the Colorado Springs Poetry Slam, Poetry In Motion's 2025 Film Festival will be screening many of the 18 Official Selections from this year's festival entries, and we will also be announcing the 2025 winner of the festival live at the event!
Come out to see the films screened, with live poetry intermissions from some of the members of the Poetry Slam, networking with film professionals, and more!
What is the PIM Film Festival? The answer is in the name: "Poetry In Motion".... There is the obvious; poetry & film, but also motion… for this art form promotes the forward motion of open-minded interpretations of what poetry can be. Ultimately, how it can best express the human condition through film.

The evening is Rated R for adult situations... so plan accordingly.
