"Poetry film is quite a new genre, so in a sense we are all newcomers. As a genre it is growing and developing fast. It’s an exciting time, presenting many different possibilities for lovers of poetry and film.” – Janet Lees
How do you take an idea, a poem, an inspiration from seed to finished poetry film? What knowledge, skills and equipment do you need?
The only things you need to bring TO THIS WORKSHOP are your energy, curiosity and love for poetry and film.
Come along, learn and explore with British poet and filmmaker Janet Lees. As well as tips and guidance, the workshop will include short creative exercises to generate poems.
The workshop will be in English. The number of participants is limited to 12.
It is a 2h workshop with the option to explore further for anyone who would like to stay on.
