This month we have some fabulous and multi-talented visitors from Perthshire!
Karen Macfarlane is about to embark on the final stage of a two strand Arts & Humanities degree (Creative Writing and Art History). She joins these strands in a sort of poetic macramé in her online project, Poems on Public Art. She will be bringing us her debut pamphlet collection, All About the Surface, newly published by Seahorse Publications.
Dawn Wood was born in 1963 in Omagh, County Tyrone and now lives in Perthshire, Scotland. Recently she was involved as poet/storyteller in composition/performance projects (‘No Trees to Whisper’, 2020 and ‘Modern Chants’, 2021-22), both shortlisted for Scottish Awards for New Music, 2023, and she and her musical collaborator Steve Gellatly will be letting us hear some of their work together
