tinyurl.com/Poetryandpoppadomssupperclub Celebrate Diwali in laid-back Margate style. The food will be a combination of delicately aromatic West Bengali home flavours and tangy Kolkata street food staples.
There will be poetry and a specially curated Lo-fi Bollywood/Indian folkloric chill playlist.
It will be relaxed, low-stakes and a nourishing autumn evening.
Dress code is comfy glam or whatever brings you warmth and joy.
Bring your mates, partner or come alone if you prefer. It's a supper club canteen atmosphere; there will be mingling and relaxed seating arrangements so you can make new friends if you wish.
We hope to create a night where the traditions of Bengal and Diwali meets Margate’s easy-going spirit.
