Please join Logan Chan and Brice Maiurro for the release of their EP, "The Cheesman Park Session".This EP is a special collaboration which showcases several of Brice's gently perceptive poems within a retro-futuristic musical soundscape. Brice and Logan live a few blocks away from each other near Cheesman Park, Denver and drew inspiration from the neighborhood for this EP's content. Brice's spoken words were recorded in one night in December 2022 and Logan wove a delicate soundscape of synths, percussion, and piano around the poetry. The end result is a five-track journey of reflection through conversations, nocturnal flights, empty theaters, simulations, and quiet dreams of a better tomorrow. Take a compassionate journey through the psychological terrain of the neighborhood as Brice puts words to inner thoughts, doubts, and aspirations while Logan uses digital and analog sources to conjure an imagined world that hides in our daily lives.
Event starts at 3p and ends right around 530p.
No cover fee, but Enigma Bazaar does have a $15 minimum purchase requirement.
