About this Event
We cater to those whom love to have memorable moments, unforgettable experiences, and all withihn a spirited ambiance. If you have attended a Poetry Lounge event hosted by High Society Events and Planning before then you know that thee VIBES are always on point and the talent is superior! This month we're going all out with top performances from poets, singers, rappers, and of course a live band featuring 3 times Grammy Award Winning musician Lionel Holoman Jr.

This Poetry Lounge is going to be EPIC, like an entire movie. It is hosted on a Friday instead of the usual Thursday night (But when you have a musician with the resume as LJ you move the date to accommodate the band OK! Lol.)

OPEN MIC SIGN UP LIST
The sign up list will be with the hostess.
Opens when the doors open.
The list fills up fast.
Each participant will have 3-5 minutes (Time is decided based upon the amount of people signed up in comparison to the time needed first for the event duration and lastly the featured artists)

3rd Thursdays: Poetry Lounge was created with the mindset that artistic expression is therapeutic.
It's a safe space where all creatives from different disciplines are welcomed and those whom enjoy loving on local talent joins to watch and support artists.

FEATURED ARTIST:
The leader of the band and three times grammy award winning musician Lionel "LJ" Holoman. He is the only musician I have encountered in the entertainment world that I can say his talent on the keys are unparalleled to his high character in real life. He's not only a very astute musician but a wonderful singer as well. Trust me when I say that he will emite musical sounds you do not want to miss!
FEATURED ARTIST:
Born in the Bay Area. Raised in Shanghai and Taipei, Angela Hsieh is classically trained as a film and visual media composer. She thrives on creative challenges and experimental passion projects that range from minimalist to full orchestral scores. If you ever heard her play over a hip-hop beat then you'll know how versatile of a musician she truly is.
