Sangeet Millennium, in partnership with Flamenco Fever, presents a soulfully vibrant event celebrating the love poetry of three iconic poets from three continents: Rabindranath Tagore (India), Pablo Neruda (Chile), and Federico García Lorca (Spain). Powered by the fusion of these poets’ words in multiple languages, set to the music and movement of their respective cultures, Poetics Across Continents offers a feast of diverse forms of artistic expression that transcends borders and continents. Join us at La Cantera Arts Conservatory in Oak Cliff for an inspiring, immersive experience in a world of creativity and collaboration!

Sangeet Millennium, Flamenco Fever, and their special guest dancers, musicians (instrumental and vocal), and spoken word performers from Spain, India, Mexico, Bangladesh, and the US team up to present a multilingual, interdisciplinary, and intercultural celebration of South Asian and Spanish/flamenco music and dance, together with Spanish, Bengali, and English poetry in the original and their translation into Urdu and English.
Celebrating the immortalized poets from three continents--Rabindranath Tagore (India), Pablo Neruda (Chile), and Federico García Lorca (Spain)--these Valentine's weekend performances focus on the multiple dimensions of love, earthly and transcendental.
