Poetic Justice Conference 2024

Welcome to the Poetic Justice Conference 2024! The Listening’s mission statement to engage, change and save lives with the performing arts through community engagement and youth programming. By identifying the aisle where art styles like dance, poetry, theater and song-writing meet social issues like social justice, education and mental health, we see opportunity to offer a resource to train and empower community members who wish to explore how the performing arts can and have been used as a transformative resource. 

Join us for a day filled with inspiring poetry, thought-provoking discussions, and creative workshops at Music is Forever LLC. Arts have the power to change the world by fostering cultural understanding, empathy, as well as building community development. PJC consists of panels, performances,  and breakout sessions with leaders sharing how the arts are integral to advocacy, education, and community mental health. Join us as we introduce arts as a healing mechanism and tool in social justice.  VOTER REGISTRATION WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR THOSE WHO MISSED THE DEADLINE.
