Her debut collection, "Love, Robot," imagines intimate relationships between humans and technology and has earned major honors, including the 2019 Best Book Award in Poetry from the Asian American Studies Association, the Elgin Award, and Entropy’s Best Poetry Book.
Pulitzer Prize winner Viet Thanh Nguyen says Rhee’s robot love stories “make us rethink what it might mean to be human.”
Rhee is Chair of Arts Writing at The New School and is completing two forthcoming books with Duke University Press.
