Poems & Prose

Join us for an intimate, guided poetry evening led by local poet and creative Ashley Love. Guests will be gently guided through writing two poems — one to themselves and one to someone else — using thoughtful, beginner-friendly prompts. No prior writing experience is needed, and the atmosphere will be relaxed, welcoming, and low-pressure. You will walk away with two beautiful keepsakes that can stay with you forever.

The evening will also include a romance and poetry book swap, offering a chance to trade a favorite read and discover something new. We ask that guests bring a romance or poetry book to be apart of the swap.

Drinks and treats will be available for purchase throughout the event. Space is limited to keep the gathering intimate

POETRY & ROMANCE BOOK SWAP

• You will bring one book to the event and take a new one home with a theme of poetry and romance
• Choose either a book of poetry you love or that has a special meaning to you(doesnt have to be love focused) OR a romance novel - the book selection is totally up to you!
• We welcome pre-loved books, but please ensure your contribution is in good shape for the new owner to take home and treasure for themselves
• Don't worry about wrapping up your book - we will have supplies ready upon yout arrival!
• You will be able to take something home that piques your interest without judging it by its cover
