Poe Comes to Laurel

An art installation and display at the Laurel Historical Society.

After last year's record crowds, Poe returns to Laurel in 2022 - this time, featuring the 200th anniversary of the birth of his wife Virginia Clemm Poe.

The "Edgar & Virginia Poe Death Exhibit" explores the hidden history of Virginia Poe, the beloved wife and muse of Edgar Allan Poe, and how she shaped her husband's work even from beyond the grave.

Donations benefit the Laurel Historical Society and The Edgar Allan Poe House & Museum in Baltimore.

Exhibit open during regular hours: Fri-Sat-Sun, 12-4pm, Oct. 21 - Nov. 27, closed Nov. 25.

Death and funeral imagery (including body in an open casket), may not be suitable for young children.

Viewer discretion advised.
