Podcasting 101

Learn the basics of podcast production at East Haven Public Television.

Experienced podcasters will take participants ages 14+ through everything needed to get creative at the studio, including microphone basics, connectivity, software, setup, concept, and distribution.

There will be time to interact directly with ETV’s state-of-the-art equipment, and experiment with an audio sample or two.

In addition to the class, participants will meet with ETV’s community coordinator to develop their ideas and schedule their first session behind the mic.

This is a perfect introductory event for prospective video and audio podcasters, experienced vloggers and journalists looking to expand their horizons, or content creators of all kinds.

The ticket is included in the purchase of a one month’s membership – only $20. This price includes cost of the class, recording for the month of August, and 1-on-1 assistance with ETV staff.
