About our speakers:

Richard Gearhart, Esq. is the founder of Gearhart Law and the host of a weekly radio show and podcast for entrepreneurs called “Passage to Profit”. He has built a firm with an international presence that helps entrepreneurs from around the world with their patent, trademark and copyright needs.

Richard commands a breadth of experience that comes from over 30 years of practice in the writing and prosecution of hundreds of patents, and in all aspects of Intellectual Property law. In 2022, Richard was recognized by ROI New Jersey as a 2022 ROI Influencer in the Law List category for being one of the best of the best in New Jersey for intellectual property law.

Gearhart Law emerged from Richard’s passion for entrepreneurship and startups and his belief that entrepreneurship grows the economy and creates jobs. When we started Gearhart Law, our goal was to help and support the new business ventures of 500 entrepreneurs and inventors. After nearly 20 years, the firm has far surpassed this goal; today, we look forward to helping even more inventors and entrepreneurs get off to a great start and reach their own goals.

Steven Frydman, Esq., is a trademark and copyright attorney at Gearhart Law with a B.S. degree in business from the NYU Stern School of Business. He obtained his law degree from the Benjamin L. Cardozo Law School. Steven’s focus is protecting clients’ intellectual property through helping them to obtain and defend their trademarks and copyrights. Steven is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey.

Sonia Satra
With over 10,000 hours of onscreen and stage acting, the former star of Guiding Light and One Life to Live and has recently guest-starred in an upcoming Netflix Mini-Series, Gretzky’s Office, American Dynasty, and the Emmy-winning The Men Who Built America. A certified coach and NLP (Neurolinguistic Programming) Practitioner, Sonia is also a holistic health coach and certified fitness instructor. Formerly, the president of the National Speakers Association NYC, Sonia also founded Women's Empowerment Adventures, a company that combines a coaching workshop with a physical challenge such as kayaking, trapeze, and rock-climbing. She continues to offer Adventures through Moticise, as well as keynotes, break-out sessions, and corporate presentations.

Elizabeth Gearhart
Elizabeth is the founder, with her husband Richard, of GearMedia Studios, a podcast studio and event space which is rented to creators. Elizabeth is an entrepreneur and a podcast and radio show host. She helped her husband Richard build Gearhart Law, an Intellectual Property law firm founded in 2006, by focusing on marketing for the firm. She and Richard started the Passage to Profit Show about entrepreneurship on iHeart radio in Manhattan in 2018; the show became nationally syndicated 4 years later. The show is now on over 36 radio stations nationwide, and is also a podcast, ranked in the top 3% of podcasts globally per Listen Notes and as a Top 10 Entrepreneur Podcast to be Interviewed On by Feedspot. Elizabeth also hosts The Jersey PodCats podcast with Danielle Woolley, started in 2022 to help find a cure for a cat.
