We are throwing a special fundraiser event for the POC Contact Improv jam!! The POC Jam is entering its third year and we are looking forward to this bridge building event supporting the POC Affinity group and the general CI Community to come together on the dance floor! We welcome Allies who wish to express their support for the POC Jam, POC teaching artists, and POC organizers to join us for this special event and help us raise funds to sustain the 2025 POC CI Jam. 6:15pm Tea, snacks, & community mural drawing
7-10pm Jamming the Auditorium to live music accompaniment!
Suggested Donation: $30-50+
This event is also a celebration to mark the POC Jam moving to Tuesday evening beginning in February in partnership with Tuesday Jam! The POC jam will now overlap with Tuesday jam on 1st and 3rd Tuesdays, but will remain a POC only affinity upstairs. POC can access both space for one donation. We are hopeful that this move will foster opportunities for more interaction between our newer and more experienced POC dancers, who regularly attend the Tuesday jams, as well as open up a more easeful pathway for POC dancers curious about dipping their toes into the wider CI community.
We look forward to growing with you all in the year ahead, especially as an interwoven part of the CI community at Finnish Hall.
