In this 2 hour presentation, Jim Brosnan, Ph.D., provides an overview on managing Poa annua infestations on golf courses, particularly in the southeastern U.S. You will receive an update on the current status of herbicide resistance within Poa annua, strategies to manage resistance in the short term, as well as perspectives on what management might look like in the future. Included is an overview of Poa annua biology and we’ll discuss how disease management strategies could affect Poa annua management on different parts of your golf course.
