​Brevay Cycling and Catalysis are excited to invite you to a special PNW Climate Week speaker panel featuring leading experts in the softgoods category. This event will discuss the multifaceted journey that it takes to get innovations in this category to market that promise to shape the global landscape of apparel, fashion, and footwear. These sectors not only define our daily attire, but also represent a complex network of production, logistics, material innovation, marketing, and consumerism. Softgoods production of apparel ?, fashion ???, and footwear ? accounts for 8% of the world's global greenhouse gas emissions ? and 7% of all waste in landfills.

​Panelists include experts from Ravel, known for their cutting edge textile recycling technologies ?, Brooks Running, known for revolutionizing athletic footwear ?, and ReformU, innovators and educators in sustainable fashion and consumerism ?️. Throughout the discussions, we will dive into performance-driven design, changing fashion trends, and how these elements come together to meet the demands of today's consumers.

​July 8th from 7 - 9:30pm. Networking from 7:00 - 7:30, speaker panel from 7:30 - 8:15, audience Q&A from 8:15 - 8:30, and 8:30 - 9:30 closing and networking. Light refreshments and snacks will be provided. Location is the headquarters of Catalysis Corporation at 1601 E John Street located in Capitol Hill, Seattle. Street parking in the neighborhood, bike parking across the street or inside the building, and only a short walk from the Capitol Hill light rail station. **Building is not ADA compliant, please reach out to the hosts for accommodations.**
