About this Event
High Holydays at P’nai Or Philadelphia
Returning to the Wholeness of Teshuvah
(See our website www.pnaior-phila.org for updates)
Welcome to a Jewish Renewal High Holyday experience, a gentle, heart-opening New Year with P’nai Or Philadelphia.
Come to rest. Come to renew. Come with your laughter, tears, music, silence, questions, and hopes. Whether you stay for a few moments or the entire service, we welcome you!
Once again, we will gather both in person and on Zoom to share the spiritual journey of the High Holydays.
Our services will be led by Rabbi Susan Swartz and our Cantorial Leader Daniella Forstater, accompanied by renowned musician Dave Posmontier.
Join us for a gentle, heart-opening journey into the New Year. They will blend cherished P’nai Or traditions of Hebrew and English liturgy, original music, and contemplation with new approaches to deepen our spiritual journey throughout the Days of Awe.
All are welcome, no matter your race, sexual orientation, marital status, age, political views, disability, gender.
LOCATION
We will gather in person in our spacious High Holyday room at Summit Presbyterian Church, 6757 Greene Street, West Mt. Airy, Philadelphia (at the corner of Westview and Greene).
The entrance on Westview is wheelchair accessible.
Zoom links will be sent upon registration for those joining from home.
REGISTRATION
Pre-registration is required for everyone, whether attending in person or on Zoom. High Holydays are included with membership. To join, click here.
Bring your children to the Erev Rosh Hashanah service and Tashlich at Saylor Grove.
Our Erev Rosh Hashanah service is appropriate for all ages and includes music, singing, dancing, and a story. The Tashlich service at Saylor Grove will also be a lovely time to be together as a family in community.
