Join PMAC at 3S Artspace for the Spring Teen Rock/Jazz Show, featuring terrific performances by our Teen Rock Band and Teen Jazz Band students!Tickets are just $5!
The Teen Rock Band program, led by Nick Phaneuf and Jim Dozet, is for students ages 12 - 18. Teen Rock students learn how to play in a band setting, explore new music and collaborate as a team. Alumni of the Teen Rock Band have gone on to lead their own bands, write and record albums, and perform throughout the country! The Teen Rock Band program is sponsored by The Drum Center of Portsmouth.
The Teen Jazz Ensemble, led by Eric Klaxton, is for students ages 12-18. In this advanced teen group, students improvise and strengthen their jazz shops, performing traditional straight-ahead charts and pieces by today's jazz innovators.
