A practical session focusing on key principles of infection management and antimicrobial stewardship in lower limb care. We’ll cover when antibiotic therapy is — and isn’t — appropriate, choosing the right agent, understanding what wound swabs can and can’t tell you, appropriate course lengths, risks of over treatment and what successful outcomes of treatment should look like.
