Plying: Thread Structure, Color Design & Art Yarns

Plying allows the spinners to incorporate exotic fibers, color blending, and of course, strength to the thread.  You will explore 2 ply, 3 ply, and 4 ply, cabling, chain ply, and plying for color effects.  Just to round out the class, get wild with art yarn, boucle, and eye lash for special effects.
