Movement Thursday, May 21st at SPKRBOX. It will be a real treat leading up to the festival weekend. Featuring Detroit native headliners, Carlos Souffront (SF), who will be displaying his expertise in Acid of all eras, in multiple sets back to back with Jeffrey Sfire (NYC), DJing his mindfully wild sets showcasing everything from his special flavor of Italo to Acid, and let's not forget to mention his current project Looky Looky. John Ryan, aka Dr. Disko Dust (90's project spacelings & bassheads, Ze Dark Park, old school to new school party degenerate royalty), an underground Cosmic Disco freakazoid, will be playing sets between Carlos & Sfire. Other DJ's include Nick Kothari (partners with Dr. Disko Dust at their Elixir weekly, and their new magazine Far Out Dance (Free issues available!), opening DJ set by very special guest Mike Holiday (Alaska, Arizona), and live set by Detroit based producer and DJ, Cam Mcguffie, opening the night with a Live Set showcasing his one of a kind style; mixing elements of electro, acid, and techno contemporary, old school, and the future.
