PLNTD Talk Space

PLNTD Talk Spaces are essentially spaces for people to get talking. One of our key aims with PLNTD is to improve wellbeing and combat lonliness. Our talk spaces will give people an opportunity to have light hearted chats or even get deep if you feel comfortable enough and hopefully even make friends. The event will also include group art activities that should naturally encourage communication within the group for our shyer attendees.

Ballot Box

On entry you will see a ballot box, you can either walk straight past it or write a conversation topic and drop it in.

Intrusive Flower Boxes

There will also be our signiture flower boxes, home to our intrusive questions. Here, you can write out your thoughts and place them in the boxes. These are written anonymously and are left out for others to view as they write their own answers. The idea is for us to see overlaps in our human experiences. As cleché as it sounds; you're never truly alone <3

Group Art

The event will also have group art activities throughout. We will all be painting on massive papers creating a shared art piece. This activity will flow on along side the intrusive flower boxes (feel free to move about).

Talk & Tea time

At talk and tea time (where you grab a cuppa and we start chit chatting) we will go through that ballot box and start discussing the topics as a group or micro groups... whatever flows naturally.
