PLJ Class of 1982 40th Reunion

Hello PLJ Class of 1982!!!! Are you ready for some 40 Years of Celebration?!!!!

Get ready to relax, let loose, smile and have a great time, sharing memories and creating new ones.

The festivities are spread out over a 3-day Weekend of Friday, Saturday and Sunday, July 8,9 & 10, 2022. The Early Bird Special is ONLY $150 for the entire weekend! There’s also A’ la carte pricing for those attending one or two of the events; Friday $45, Saturday $85 & Sunday $65. The Early Bird Special ends February 28, 2021.

Beginning, March 1, 2022 the weekend cost goes up to $175; A’ la carte Friday $55, Saturday $105 & Sunday $80.

Friday Evening: 7/8/22

Welcome to the PLJ Class of 1982 Sunset Bonfire Mixer!!!! Come socialize and get a snap shot of the Amazing Weekend of Events we have planned! Enjoy mouth-watering fresh fish at our Friday night Fish Fry. Stop by the bar for libations and old school snacks to help enhance the night. Share your stories of the past (true or otherwise), while viewing slides from way back when. Be prepared to strike a pose as our world-class photographer captures highlights from the evening helping to create new memories while preparing for an awesome weekend. It’s time to enjoy ourselves and let the good times begin!!!!!

Saturday Evening: 7/9/22

Welcome to the PLJ Class of 1982 40th Year Reunion where you will be transported to Soul Train, the hippest trip in Jaguar Nation!!!! 240 non-stop minutes to emerge yourself in the best memories of the 70s-80s era!!! With special performances from your favorite artists from back in the day and the Soul Train Gang of 1982, hosted by Maurice Mo “Don Cornelius” Jones. You’ll be treated to a delicious Soul Food dinner, a groovy bar, and music that will have you doing the spank, the bump, and whatever else your knees will allow. This party is going to be a stone-cold groove!!! So break out your best 70’s/80’s gear and enter the best dressed contest for the hippest brother and sassiest sista’!!! Let’s make this “A Night To Remember!”

Sunday Afternoon: 7/10/22

Welcome to PLJ Class of 1982 “Le Dîner en Blanc”. The Class of all Classes presents this extraordinary event, “Le Dîner en Blanc” meets Ravinia, Jaguar Style!!! “Le Dîner en Blanc” celebrates elegance and glamour and guests engage one another knowing they are taking part in a truly magical event. Enjoy this All-White Party with a twist, guest will wear ORANGE, BROWN & WHITE, while displaying the greatest decorum, elegance, and etiquette, as we meet for a “chic picnic” in a special location. You have the option of bringing your own favorite picnic meal and libations or, sample the tasty hors d’oeuvres, compliments of the “Le Dîner en Blanc” committee. Decorated tables and chairs will be provided.

Over the course of the evening, you will experience the comedic stylings of one of Chicago’s top comedians, as well as, live music brought to you by award-winning performers.

This will be a day to reflect on a wonderful weekend, renew old friendships, and thank God we made it to our PLJ Class of 1982 40th year Reunion!
