PLEIN AIR PAINTING WORKSHOP & PAINT-OUT

Join the Town’s Arts & History department for a FREE outdoor painting workshop! Get inspired by the lush scenery and landscape at Purple Park to paint on site “en plein air”. Learn to work in your medium of choice whether watercolor, acrylic or ink pen.

• Choose one of the two free sessions (not both).

• Acrylic, watercolor and ink pen techniques will be taught.

• Supplies will be free to participants.

• Minimum participant age is 12 yrs.

• All skill levels welcome.

• Multiple instructors will be stationed throughout Purple Park with at least one location that is mobility accessible.

• Wear appropriate footwear for walking and attire suitable for outdoor elements.

• Bring your own hydration!

• At the end of each session, participants can view each other’s works for a wrap-up-meet-&-greet.

PAINT-OUT!

Already know how to paint plein air? You don’t have to participate in the workshop if you don’t need instruction, but are welcome to join the artsy vibe for a park-wide paint-out!
