Plein Air Nature Drawing| Adult Class (ages 16+)

Immerse yourself in the serene art of plein air drawing where you'll explore the beauty of outdoor landscapes through the medium of graphite. Led by experienced artist Oami Powers, you'll learn essential techniques to capture light, shadow, and natural qualities of plants and flowers directly from nature. Whether you're a beginner or seasoned artist, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to hone your observational skills and connect with the environment around you. Join us for a day of creativity, inspiration, and artistic growth in the open air. No prior experience is necessary to participate in this class and all materials will be provided. You are welcome to bring any of your own materials as well. Participants will meet at the JC Raulston Arboretum. Further details regarding the location will be shared closer to the event.
