This summer, step outside the studio and discover Toronto through the eyes of an artist. Join professional artist Nina Savchenko for a series of inspiring plein air workshops in some of Toronto's most beautiful and iconic locations. Together, we'll slow down, observe, sketch, and paint, learning how to capture the atmosphere, architecture, nature, and energy of the city on paper.

Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced artist, these outdoor sessions will help you develop your artistic skills while enjoying Toronto's vibrant summer scenery.

🌿 June 28 — University of Toronto

Explore one of North America's most beautiful university campuses, where Gothic architecture, hidden courtyards, and leafy pathways create endless artistic inspiration. We'll focus on: architectural details, perspective and composition

🌿 July 12 — Coronation Park

Set along the shores of Lake Ontario, Coronation Park offers spectacular waterfront views, sailboats, city skylines, passing aircraft, and lively summer scenes. We'll capture: the waterfront atmosphere, reflections and open skies, people enjoying the park, Toronto's famously curious squirrels

🌿 July 26 — Fort York

Discover the fascinating intersection of Toronto's past and present. Historic buildings meet dramatic contemporary architecture, creating a rich visual landscape. We'll explore: historic structures and urban contrasts, glass reflections and geometric forms, city perspectives and skyline views

🌳 August 2 — High Park

Toronto's beloved High Park becomes our outdoor studio for a day of painting and sketching among gardens, ponds, shaded pathways, and magnificent trees. We'll learn: how to capture light and atmosphere, watercolour techniques for landscapes, quick marker sketches

Come sketch, paint, explore, and leave with your own collection of summer memories.
