2026 City Park Plein Air Art Festival Saturday, August 8 (#9375)
Welcome one and all to Hagerstown City Park for an open-air day of creativity! Artists are invited to bring your own supplies and create original works of art outdoors inspired by nature. Hosted by the Hagerstown Parks & Recreation Division, Valley Art Association of the Mansion House Art Center, the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts, and Washington County Arts Council.
This year's theme "History is in Our Nature" with three registration levels available to participate:
1. Basic Level- Free to paint at City Park! Registration includes signing the event waiver, included on the artist roster, and receive up-to-date info about the event.
2. Exhibition Level- $10 registration secures your painting to be exhibited at either the Valley Art Association or Washington County Arts Council
3. Juried Competition Level- $20 registration to participate in the Juried Competition hosted by WCMFA (more details to come).

When: Saturday, August 8, 10am-4pm
Register online or onsite during the event for free to participate as an artist!
Demonstrations and volunteers will be available throughout the park. Activities will be available for children and those with disabilities.
