#PledgeKindness Pet Parade

We'd love for you to join the first ever animals-for-animals protest parade.

What it is: A family-friendly, joyful parade where pets and their owners gather to launch the "Kind to All Animals Pledge" campaign. This isn't a serious protest —it's a celebration of animal love with a positive message about taking small steps to help ALL animals humans affect.

Why attend:

• It's fun: There will be tons of cute pets, bandanas and costumes to dress your pet in (optional), other animal lovers, great food and drink, and a professional pet photographer capturing the memories
• It's impactful: Just by attending, you'll help launch the "Kind to All Animals Pledge", which hopes to see thousands of people take small actions to help protect millions of animals.

Agenda:

1. Meet at Château le Woof in Astoria at 3pm
2. We'll parade through Socrates Sculpture Park until ~4pm
3. Back at Château le Woof our "Spokesdoggy" will launch the Kind to All Animals pledge
4. Celebrate with other animal lovers, treat yourself or your pet to a snack from the cafe (if you'd like), and get professional photos taken of your pet walking down the #PledgeKindness red carpet

Why are you running this?

At FarmKind, we love animals. We know that billions of people love animals too, and want to help them. But often, the scale of animal suffering is so overwhelming that we end up just helping the animals right in front of us: Our pets.

To help address this, we're creating a simple, accessible way for people to help ALL animals in our care (companion animals, farmed animals, lab animals and wildlife) through small but meaningful actions that make a big difference.
