Pleasantly Tipsy With Asho - an Art Class

Join Asho and Dreamers & Make-Believers for a guided self-portrait! Asho will lead us through the basics of facial proportions, how to use pops of color, and how to amplify the things you love most about yourself as you paint. This event is queer-positive, and focused on feeling our most genuine selves this pride month.

This painting will focus on feeling good rather than photorealism or accuracy. Anything that feels like you is a portrait - we will explore a variety of ways to view yourself. While there will be some academic instruction, the center of this process is the joy of creating a painted rendition. Below are just some examples of Asho's self-portraits.

Asho and Dreamers will provide everything you need for this night of creativity! Everyone is welcome to participate, but we ask that children are supervised by an adult.

We will be using acrylic paint which has the potential to stain - please dress in clothes you don't mind getting messy!!
