Pleasant Vices

Mothers ruin, the green fairy – alcohol has always been seen as a vice, but some drinks tend more to the dark side than others!

In this off beat guided tasting we will explore the drinks that come with a reputation, deserved or not, and see if we can drag them back into the realm of respectability.

We will begin with Champagne and its pesky bubbles - a problem for, both, for the early winemakers and our heads!

We will then set our disapproving gaze upon a rogues gallery of spirits - Gin, Tequila and the thoroughly disreputable Absinthe.

But fear not, each will be served alongside a matched canape in a last shot at respectability. Last but not least, we will turn our attention to kava, that sometimes illicit inducer of good island times!

Cheers, or should we say "Down the hatch!"
