About this Event

Have you ever wanted to write a play? Have you found a niche piece of history that excites you? Do you want a space where you can write and talk about your favorite facts? Join M. D. Schaffer, playwright of “Drapetomania: A Negro Carol,” in a workshop that looks to give attendees the skills and structures to make art inspired by their historical interests. This is a colaboration between the Garden State New Play Festival, Jersey City Landmarks Conservancy and Museum of Jersey City History.
