Playwriting is My Superpower.
Take the next step in the series with a play that will inspire your students to write plays of their very own! In this interactive experience, your students will learn the ingredients of a play and see a brand-new one created (using their OWN ideas) right before their eyes. All students are encouraged to submit their plays to FST's 2025 Young Playwrights Festival to be considered for a professional production in the spring.
Thank you for your interest in attending a Florida Studio Theatre Write-a-Play Performance during the 2024-2025 school year. KnightFall Academy and SHARE have organized field trips for homeschooled families to all five of the performances offered. In order to qualify for the discounted rate, as a group, we need to have a minimum of 30 students and 5 adults attend each performance.
If you would like to attend any of the performances with KnightFall Academy and SHARE, please use the form linked under tickets to register. Tickets are $6 p/person p/play if billed separately ($5 ticket + $1 payment processing fee) through a Quickbooks invoice sent to the email provided. Or you can enjoy the entire season for $27 p/person if billed as a subscription ($25 tickets +$2 payment processing fee). Payment is due 30 days in advance of the performance. No refunds will be provided after this due date.
Florida Studio Theatre is located in downtown Sarasota and includes several buildings so check the event wall for the location of each performance. The main theatre is located at 1241 N Palm Ave, Sarasota.
