Mike Vee and Susannah Mirana celebrate two legends, John Farnham and Olivia Newton-John in Playing to Win, two sensational concerts on the same night at Her Majesty’s Theatre from 7.30pm on Saturday 1st June.Mike Vee has toured his Whispering Jack Show for almost a decade and been endorsed by John Farnham, who said he was “Honoured to have a show dedicated to my music”.
This Adelaide concert features a seven-piece band and will showcase John Farnham’s iconic hits from Age of Reason to Pressure Down, A Touch of Paradise and You’re The Voice from the 1986 album Whispering Jack.
Mike’s career also includes leading roles in Sydney theatre productions Jesus Christ Superstar and Les Miserables as well as performing the National Anthem for the Newcastle Knights, before stadium games.
Susannah Mirana is classically trained, has appeared internationally for Royalty, and Prime Ministers and is currently in Sydney with her own show Moulin Roque. Her career in radio and television also includes as a presenter and voice-over work.
Susannah with her All-Star band, delivers an uplifting and intoxicating performance spanning the decades with beautiful solo hits and duets with Mike, and her much-loved Olivia Newton-John set list includes –
I Honestly Love You, Hopelessly Devoted to You, Let Me Be There, Magic, Summer Nights, Physical, You’re the One That I Want and so much more.
