Got an evening to spare and want to learn something new? Skip the screen time and join us for Playing Cards Club! It’s basically a crash course followed by a casual game night; here’s the ‘deal’:The First 30 Minutes: A library staff member will walk everyone through how the card game of the month works. They’ll cover the rules, the goal, and a few tricks to help you win.
The Next 60 Minutes: Everyone will break into groups and actually play! It’s the best way to let the rules sink in while hanging out and having a laugh.
No experience? No problem. No partner? No worries. We’ll find you a seat at a table. We’ll provide the cards and light refreshments; you just bring yourself.
March Game of the Month: Rummy
April Game of the Month: Golf
May Game of the Month: Nertz
This program is free to attend. Registration is not required. Each session can be attended as a standalone program; you need not attend all sessions to participate. This program is intended for adults.
