Playin' in the Park Independence Celebration

The next Playin' in the Park Independence Celebration will be held Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Booster Park. Admission is FREE. There are NO TICKETS. Freewill donations will be accepted by OCHS Football for parking services as attendees arrive. Attendees are welcome to bring picnics, blankets, and lawn chairs. Alcohol is prohibited. Parking is limited, please arrive early. All pets must be on leash outside of Skydog Orange Dog Park.
Gates open at 5:00 p.m. Entertainment begins at 6:00 p.m. Enjoy live music by the Yurasits Family and Dave Goodrich, a Touch-A-Truck, food vendors, fun activities like a mechanical bull, and more during this family-friendly event. Fireworks will take place at dark.
Planned food vendors include Buffalo Wild Wings (Wings on Wheels), B-Radd & Honey, R U Freak'n Hungry, Kona Ice of Culpeper, Catch the Chef, Fabulous Foods, and The Dreamsicle Lemonade Stand.
