One of Ireland’s greatest musical exports, pioneering Sledgehammer House, Kettama returns to Vancouver on November 22nd and performs at Celebrities.
KETTAMA is a name that has, over the course of the last few years, become synonymous with a plethora of sounds. Since his emergence in 2018, KETTAMA’s rise to notoriety within the electronic music scene has been nothing short of rampant; drawing a parallel with his equally rampant sound. Having undergone an evolution of sound identity in that time, KETTAMA has arrived at a sound that has seen the Irishman become something of a cult figure within his hometown of Galway, a.k.a G-Town; amassing an ardent following that has bled across the water into the UK, and beyond. An unrelenting artist, KETTAMA’s abilities are flexed in his groundbreaking production, wherein the producer has become a pioneer for ‘Sledgehammer-House’; a wave of sound that sees hard-hitting bass and devious drums patterns infused into a euphoric, energy-fuelled soundscape
