PlayGround's 2026 Twisted Holiday Festival: Whenever You’re Ready

Whenever You’re Ready, by Bel Mehaffy
December 18 at 8:30pm, December 19 at 5:30pm, December 20 at 2:30pm
On New Year’s Day, a young woman sits alone in an ordinary waiting room. As the minutes stretch on, she fills the silence with sharp observations, imagined lives, and increasingly honest confessions. The audience is never told where she is or why she’s there. Instead, the play invites us into the universal experience of standing on the edge of a life-changing moment, wondering if everyone else knows something we don’t.
