Date and Time: Feb 18th to 21st, 6pm - 9pm Feb 22nd and 23rd, 10am - 1pm Showing: Feb 23rd About: Playground is an intensive designed to explore your body, emotions, and creativity, in a fun, inclusive, challenging and safe environment, Calling participants with any level of experience in body movement, the intensive Playground offers an 18 hours course through six days where you`ll experience both technical dance training and a collaborative creative process that will bring empowerment to your being and will nourish your creativity. What You’ll Experience: Technical Training (first part 75 mins) Warm up with focus on strength and flexibility with Thai Chi influence. Sessions will rotate between contemporary techniques, floor work, partnering, and passing through, giving you a diverse set of tools to add on your movement practice. Creation Process (second part 75 mins) Engage in a collaborative creation process, in which, through given inputs and guidance, the participants can give shape to their ideas and give life collectively to a final showcase (Feb 23rd) You will explore improvisation techniques and instant composition, discovering new ways to create and reflecting on your own creativity, emotions and movement journey. What to Expect: Inclusive, fun, and supportive environment: the intensive encourages experimentation, learning, and growth. It opens a place where every participant can contribute and feel heard. Personal and artistic growth: Through the blending of technical training and creative exploration, you will develop new skills, build confidence, and connect with your body in new ways. A final performance: On the last day of the intensive, we’ll showcase the collective work that has been built together throughout the week. For ages 16 and above
